France’s Quest-France newspaper writes about the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s activities

An article talking about the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s charitable mission both in Azerbaijan and other countries of the world was printed in France’s Quest-France newspaper.

Reference is made, in the article, to the words of Senator Natalie Goulet. The author states that President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva has been showing special care and attention, in her homeland, towards education and healthcare, and new schools and hospitals are built by the Foundation and charitable mission is carried out in a number of foreign countries. It is further stated that the Foundation has participated in compiling of the catalogue of books in the Vatican Library and repairing of the fresco of the oldest cathedral in Strasbourg, and provided support to restoration of tens of historical monuments in the Orne Department.

The author further notes Azerbaijan’s being a tolerant and secular country following the democratic path, and a number of nations’, including Jews and Christians, peacefully living in this country as citizens with equal rights.

The newspaper states that Sandrine Hainault, an official of the Normandy Regional Heritage Foundation, will make a documentary about five churches restored with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and this film will be demonstrated in countries where the Foundation has carried out its charitable mission.
