Nice-Matin newspaper of France writes about the Days of Azerbaijan in Cannes

An article entitled “Since this evening, Azerbaijan will present its cultural treasures”, talking about the Days of Azerbaijan to be held in the city of Cannes with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, is published in the 8^th March  issue of the Nice-Matin newspaper of France.

The article describes Azerbaijan as the leading state of the South Caucasus, located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, and gives broad information about the country.

Mentioning Azerbaijan’s being a guest in Cannes for the second time, the author notes that, within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijan, our country’s cultural heritage, its traditions will be demonstrated, and events associated with the European Games to be hosted by Baku in 2015 will be held.

In the article, it is noted, referring to the words of Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Elchin Amirbeyov, that the objective of holding the Days of Azerbaijan was to demonstrate the country’s cultural diversity.

The author states that the Days of Azerbaijan will start on July 8^th with Azerbaijani jazz music, and following issues of the newspaper will inform its readers of the events to be held henceforth.
