The French press writes about the “Azerbaijani Camp” organized in Paris

The “Azerbaijani Camp” organized during 19 to 28 September 2014 on Saint Sulpice Square in Paris came to an end. During this period, the French press  talked about the “Azerbaijani Camp” organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

The local mass media wrote that Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the “Azerbaijani Camp”. It is further written that after the Days of Azerbaijan held in June this year in Cannes, cultural treasures of this country were presented in Paris.

 

Articles state that the camp gave a chance to visitors to discover all beauties of the Azerbaijani culture, get closely acquainted with its history and traditions, national garments, and taste dishes of the Azerbaijani cuisine.

 

According to the French press, organization of this event was of great significance in terms of perceiving the history, culture and distinguished features of Azerbaijan- a pearl of the Caucasus - with its important position on the international arena as a bridge between the West and East.

 

In an article placed on “Paris-frivole.com” web-site, national dances, competitions of athletes and rope dancers’ performances presented within the “Azerbaijani Camp” are talked about, and magical and striking influence of the performances of Azerbaijani masters of art were emphasized in the material.
