Pakistan’s “Tribute International” Magazine writes about Azerbaijan

Pakistan’s “Tribute International” Magazine published articles in its November issue about Azerbaijan.

 

Photos of Azerbaijani people’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva are given on the front cover of the magazine.

 

Extensive articles have been published in this issue about the projects implemented at Mehriban Aliyeva’s initiative, and the Constitution Day of Azerbaijan.

 

In his article entitled “We Welcome Mehriban Aliyeva”, correspondent Bilal Shahid says that after the devastating earthquake occurred in Pakistan in 2005, the Foundation had held charitable actions in this country and, in 2007, constructed a girls’ school designed for 500 girls in the city of Muzaffarabad.

 

It is also mentioned in the article that, starting from 2012, large-scale projects have been implemented in all provinces of Pakistan, following the initiative and with the support of Mehriban Aliyeva, covering healthcare, education and humanitarian spheres. Within the framework of this programme, free vaccination campaign was held against Hepatitis B for children and elderly being sheltered at Edhi Home Orphanage of Pakistan, free medical examinations were conducted at  Akbar Care Cerebral Palsy Institute, Laky Marwat Child and Woman Hospital, Hamza Foundation was donated 2000 blood-transfusion packages and one ambulance, and a number of projects were implemented in relation to Khyber Eye Foundation and Saif Foundation. The author has also mentioned about the support provided by the Foundation to Anjuman Suleyman Orphanage in the city of Lahore, and reconstruction works carried out there.

 

Mentioning about the “Heydar Aliyev Water Supply” project in the Dera Ismail Khan district, the author noted that, with the support of Mehriban Aliyeva, a water supply system working in a renewable energy has been built in Sohail Khinger village of Gujar Khan district of Punjab Province.

 

“Provision of the school constructed in the city of Muzaffarabad has always been the focus of attention, and reconstruction works have been carried out at the school and, in 2012, the school was named after Mehriban Aliyeva”, the author wrote.

 

The magazine has noted that Mehriban Aliyeva has been conferred on a number of awards for the projects implemented in Pakistan. The author underscored that all projects implemented at the initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva are highly appreciated by the people of Pakistan.
