World Youth IV Employment Summit

World Youth IV Employment Summit (YES) was opened on September 24 at Gulustan Palace in Baku. Organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Youth and Sport Ministry the summit aims implementation of more active work in the world towards solution of unemployment and fruitful employment.

In the third summit held in Nairobi, Kenya decision was made upon proposal of Azeri delegation on realization of the fourth summit in Baku and ‘YES Azerbaijan-2008’ campaign started.

Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, and Suzanne Mubarak, First Lady of Egypt, take part in the opening of the Baku Summit bringing together 600 delegates from over 100 countries.

Opening the summit youth and sport minister Azad Rahimov greeted the guests and noted importance of holding the summit in Baku for the country.

Head of the Humanitarian Policy Affairs Section of the President’s Office Fatma Abdullazade read the letter of congratulations by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants.

In frame of the summit, reps of the Azeri government will make presentations on the country, sectional sittings will be held on themes such ‘Propaganda of entrepreneurship in the universal scale’, ‘Role of youth in settlement of environment problems’, ‘Role of entrepreneurship in development of society’.
