A secondary school in Bijo village of Aghsu district

The secondary school in Bijo village, Aghsu district, has been constructed in the framework of the programme of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation “New schools to renewed Azerbaijan”. On September 17, 2018, inauguration of the school took place.

 

With over 2500 square metres of area, the building is two-storied, designed for 220 pupils. The building boasts 11 classrooms, chemistry, biology and physics laboratories, an informatics room, a physician’s room, a workshop, a room for military training, an assembly hall, and a canteen provided with all necessary equipment and furniture. A sports ground with the area of 1000 square metres has been built in the open air.

 

The school has been provided with uninterrupted water and heating systems, as well as fire alarm and video surveillance systems. A green zone has been laid out in the area, and 200 trees planted.

 

23 teachers will engage in the education of the pupils. Teaching will be conducted in Azerbaijani.
