Goylar village Secondary School No.1 in Shamakhy

The new building of Goylar village Secondary School No.1 in Shamakhy district was constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

Constructed in 1975, the school’s old building had become unfit for operation. For this reason, construction works were launched in January 2023, and in September of this year, the new school was commissioned.

 

Meant for 624 pupils, the school is comprised of 4 three-storied buildings. The school has a rich library, an assembly hall to hold various events, and a sports hall and an outdoor sports ground on the territory. The education institution has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment, with subject rooms and laboratories being equipped with visual aids. Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the backyard.
