Nabatkend Secondary School named after Ikram Aghayev in Saatly

The new building of the Nabatkend Secondary School named after Ikram Aghayev in Saatly district was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Constructed in 1937, the old building of the Nabatkend secondary school had become unfit for use. Therefore, construction of a new building was launched in May 2024. The new building of the education institution was commissioned in 2025.

The school is meant for 624 pupils. The four-storied school complex consists of 4 buildings. Here are classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, rooms for informatics, military training, first aid and labour training, a wardrobe, a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an outdoor sports ground. The school has been provided with necessary furniture and equipment, with subject rooms and laboratories being equipped with visual aids. Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out in the school yard, asphalt cover was laid, decorative trees and shrubs planted, and an up-to-date illumination system was installed.
