Child Music School named after famous kamancha player Habil Aliyev built in Aghdash city due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Child Music School built in Aghdash City due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been opened. Prior to the ceremony of opening of the school named after People’s Artist Habil Aliyev, the famous kamancha player, holder of Istiglal Order, President Scholar, participants of the event laid flowers on monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Addressing the ceremony Executive Director of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Elekberov greeted participants on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP. He said operating since May 10, 2004 Heydar Aliyev Foundation has done a lot for development of education, science, technology, healthcare, culture, ecology and sport in the country and continues taking large-scale actions in regions of Azerbaijan and outside.
People’s Artist Habil Aliyev has made great contributions to development of kamancha playing. The Child Music School built by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Aghdash after his name is the next step towards rebirth of cultural life in the region, discovery of new talents, multilateral development of the youth, as well huge respect to the master of kamancha.
Head of the district executive power Rafig Niftaliyev, Chairperson of Milli Mejlis Science and Education Committee Shemseddin Hajiyev, Director of Literature Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, academician Bekir Nebiyev, Secretary of Azerbaijan Writers Union, People’s Writer Fikret Goja, Head of Science and Education Section of Culture and Tourism Ministry Yashar Aliyev talked of intensive development of the country under leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the political line of national leader Heydar Aliyev, improvement of life standard of people, development of economy, education, healthcare, agriculture, culture, private sector. They valued construction of the modern music school in Aghdash and naming it after People’s Artist Habil Aliyev indicates care and attention state renders to him.
Habil Aliyev said the School was built in amazing style and put into service of young talents. Assessing launch of the School as very eminent incident he thanked all involved in this job. The People’s Artist highly evaluated concern of President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, to development of culture and art, expressed them gratitude.
The new 3-floor building of Aghdash Music School, which has been functioning since 1937, was constructed by Gilan-Inshaat LLC and supplied with a modern logistics. It includes 40 classrooms, 200-seat concert hall, boiler house, canteen, as well tar, kamancha, accordion, piano and clarinet sections. The 7-year Music School covers about 500 pupils and 70 teachers. Music theory, works by Azeri and European composers, chorus are taught at the School that has a large ensemble.
Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented the School with music instruments, hard and soft inventory, books, CDs containing songs by famous composers and musicians, their photos. Front and rooms of the building have been decorated with national ornaments. The lobby includes a corner of photographs taken in the meetings great leader Heydar Aliyev held with figures of art and popular musicians.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony participants were familiarized with the School, watched a concert by the School’s ensemble.
