Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues series of events as part of the Frederic Chopin Year Project

As part of the Frederic Chopin Year Project, Heydar Aliyev Foundation is implementing a series of events devoted to the genius composer’s life and creativity.

The next event will feature renowned Polish pianist Stanislaw Dean, who will perform on May 5 in Lankaran, and on May 7 in Gabala. Performing works by Chopin and talking of his creativity, the pianist will also give master classes at local music schools.

Heydar Aliyev Foundation has so far organized concerts in Baku to commemorate outstanding musicians D.Shostakovich and M.Rostropovich. The International Rostropovich Festival, which has become a tradition, Gabala International Music Festival and Piano Contest contribute to the formation and development of younger generation’s taste for music.
