Exhibition of artist Malik Aghamalov was opened at the Museum of Modern Art

An individual exhibition comprised of works created recently by talented artist Malik Aghamalov was arranged at the Museum of Modern Art with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Museum of  Modern Art, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Union of Azerbaijani Artists, December 22.

Addressing the event,  Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Valiyev and Chairman of  the Union of Artists Farhad Khalilov emphasized that Malik Aghamalov had his own place in Azerbaijan’s painting art and created, in his works, an individual  model of  world view. 

Malik Aghamalov is considered to be one of the main personalities of the “intellectual wing” of Azerbaijan’s modern art.

Widely using artistic styles, the conceptualist artist’s works have been displayed not only in our country, but  also in foreign countries  such as France, Germany, Great Britain, Russia and United Arab Emirates.

The exhibition of artist Malik Aghamalov will be open for visitors until January 13, 2013.
