The Fifth “Azerbaijani Family” Film Festival started in Baku

An opening ceremony of the Fifth “Azerbaijani Family” Film Festival took place, February 18th, at the State Committee for Family, Women and Child Issues (SCFWCI).


The Festival is a joint project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, SCFWCI  and the UN Population Fund.


The Contest aims to direct the attention and endeavours of the society to raising the status of a family in the society, create advantageous conditions for strengthening family’s educational function, increase interest in family values, cultivate high moral values in young families and carry out enlightenment works in the country.


Along with the subjects of presented films being in accord with the contest’s idea and objectives, they are accepted as art films, documentary, animation films, TV programs and social reels.


The Festival is held on “Best Film”, “Best TV Program”, “Best Social Reel”, “Best Foreign Film”  nominations.


Works should be presented, along with a completed questionnaire, to the organizing committee before April 22nd
