Azerbaijani Culture Days underway in Italy

The Azerbaijani Culture Days started in Turin’s Carignano Theatre, the source of pride to Italians that enjoy ancient and rich culture.

Addressing the ceremony, Piemonte Region Cultural Aide Michele Capola, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Valiyev stressed Azerbaijan and Italy have wonderful relations in all spheres, noting the special importance of the Azerbaijani Culture Days started in Turin.

The Azerbaijan State Dance Group led by People’s Artist Afag Melikova, Buta Chamber Choir headed by Honor Artist Elnara Kerimova, Honor Artist Fidan Hajiyeva and others performed for Italians.  

Head of Italy-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group Rossana Boldi said the event was amazing. According to Ms Boldi, the support President Ilham Aliyev and President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva provides to culture and social life is highly assessed in Italy. She said Azerbaijani First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva loves Italy a lot.

Michele Capola expressed pleasure of participating in the Azerbaijani Culture Days. He emphasized Azerbaijan has a rich culture.
