Nizami Ganjavi Museum opens in Ganja

On January 21, opening of the Nizami Ganjavi Museum took place in Ganja.

 

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of the museum built with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

The Head of State acquainted himself with the conditions created at the Museum. Heydar Aliyev and Nizami Ganjavi corners have been created at the Museum, and a monitor reflecting the poet’s life and creativity installed here. Every condition has been created in the research section to conduct scientific studies. An electronic kiosk provided with broad information about the great thinker’s life and creativity has been built in the Museum. In a museum with exhibits reflecting Nizami Ganjavi’s rich legacy, orders and resolutions issued by national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev on holding Nizami Ganjavi jubilees, restoration of his mausoleum, and translation and research of his works are displayed. Books, monographs and rafiyas published in connection with the great poet’s 800th and 840th jubilees are exhibited here.

 

A conference room designed for scientific events and rest rooms for tourists have been created at the Museum.
