6th Gabala International Music Festival comes to an end

The 6th Gabala International Music Festival being held in Gabala town at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative came to an end, August 1.

 

At the last music evening of the Festival, a concert program called “Viva Opera” was presented by the Johannesburg Philharmonic Opera.

 

At a concert, which took place under the leadership of conductor of the Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre, laureate of international contests Eyyub Guliyev, vocalists – People’s Artist Ali Asgerov, Honoured Artists Farida Mammadova, Sabina Asadova - soloist of the Opera Studio  named after S.Mammadova, associate professor of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeir Hajibeyli Gulnaz Ismailova, as well as Azer Rzazadeh and Yusif Eyvazov performed.

 

Evenings of chamber and classic music, and a mugham concert took place within the framework of the 6th Gabala International Music Festival. Eminent musicians, artistic teams, soloists and conductors from Azerbaijan and foreign countries took part in the festival, which continued for ten days.
