The Maiden Tower International Art Festival comes to and end

“Maiden`s Tower” İnternational Art Festival has ended today. The event was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Icherisheher State Historical and Architectural Reserve, Modern Art Museum.

The closing ceremony was attended by Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov who greeted the participants on behalf of Foundation`s President, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.

He noted the Foundation implemented major projects to conserve historical monuments and culture. He pointed out the Foundation will present “Gala” festival.

Alakbarov ended his speech with Mehriban Aliyev`s words “Let`s unite and protect world`s monuments”

The festival featured President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva`s work dealing with Maiden`s Tower. Mehriban Aliyeva reflected in her work historical and cultural monuments of some countries. UNESCO goodwill ambassador called on the world with this work to protect cultural heritage
