On September 28, lecture on the theme “Karmalogic. 54 Rules of Destiny” by Russian professor Aleksey Sitnikov was heard at the International Mugham Centre, in the framework of the 2nd Nasimi – Poetry, Art and Morality Festival.

Among those listening to the lecture was also Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.

At the beginning of his lecture, Aleksey Sitnikov said: “I want to express my gratitude for inviting me to Baku, a city captivating with its beauty, cleanness, culture, history, and modernity. It is not surprising that we celebrate the victory of wisdom and art at the Nasimi Festival in this city. By his life, Nasimi proved that conscience relied on values, world vision, and history. Therefore, I want to thank the organizers of the Festival”.

The Russian scholar mentioned religious, magic, occultist, karmic and rationalistic models in relation to destiny. Providing comprehensive information on each of the models, the lecturer brought to attention a series of rules associated with human destiny. According to professor Aleksey Sitnikov, purpose is a significant factor in human destiny. Saying “If a human has no purpose, he will be controlled by others”, - the lecturer shared his views on doubt, chaos, death, preparation, skill and other rules. He noted that doubt is inacceptable after you have taken a decision. Saying “No course, lecture, or book makes a human a leader”, - the professor substantiated his thought by examples.
