A concert entitled “Sincere Mugham” takes place in the framework of the Space of Mugam 6th International Music Festival

The 3^rd day of the Space of Mugam 6^th International Music Festival was remembered by its rich programme. Today, the mugham-lovers were given a chance to participate in the international scientific symposium organized within the framework of the festival, watch the International Mugham Contest, view a photo-exhibition comprised of mugham compositions, and listen to a concert called “Sincere Mugham”.

Within the Sincere Mugham Concert, organized in the Shirvanshahlar Palace, each musician presented his/her performance face-to-face with a listener.

Students of the National Conservatoire of Azerbaijan performed there.

Musicians skilfully performed their mughams - Aytan Rustamli “Bayaty-Shiraz” on kamancha, Kamal Shukurov “Shur” on tar, Baloghlan Gafarov “Kharic-Segah” on kamancha, Gulnar Nagyzade “Shur” on kamancha, Araz Fataliyev “Shur” on balaban, Abuzar Asgerli “Mahir-Hindi” on kamancha, and Huseyn Naghiyev “Shur” on kamancha.

The Space of Mugham 6^th International Music Festival is being held with the support and under the auspices of Azerbaijan’s First Vice-president, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. At the previous contests, young performers with special talent from a number of countries and regions were revealed. Among them, some laureates and participants have already been performed successfully on a world music scene.

Concerts organized within the framework of the festival serve revealing and promoting young talents, playing a role of a new phase in perfecting their artistic features further.
