The Cadenza Orchestra has been acting on two directions: building creative relations with musical education and famous international music festivals and centres, and, whereby, promoting Azerbaijani music.

Within the Space of Mugam 6th International Music Festival, Ilyos Arabov, a singer and educationist, who continues Uzbek classical music traditions, and soloist of the Tadjik State Ensemble, laureate at the 5th International Mugham Festival on the nomination of solo performance Sardor Soliyev performed at the Museum of Stone Annals.

Another concert was presented at the National Conservatoire of Azerbaijan. Renowned vocalist from Jordan Macadi Nahhas and Jazz pianist Tural Rafael performed on the scene.

National mugham contests and international mugham festivals have been held on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation since 2009. These projects aim at demonstrating and eternalising mugham, our national wealth, in the context of world culture.
