Events held at boarding schools in Lankaran by the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Events were held under the motto ‘Children are our future’ at boarding schools in Lankaran City in frame of ‘Children’s Year’ by the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, November 19.

In the events realized on the eve of the November 20 – Universal Children’s Day, Head of Lankaran City Executive Power Suleiman Mikayilov congratulated children. He said 20 years ago UN adopted convention on children’s rights, and our republic joined this convention after gaining independence. Every condition has been created in our country for healthy and perfect growth of children. Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, always takes care of children at children homes in Lankaran City. Just at the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, both boarding schools in the district have capitally been repaired and equipped with necessary appliances, furniture and educational supplies.  

Children said poems, sang songs, danced in the events.
