Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranges charity events in Azizbeyov district on Gurban Holiday

Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranged charity events in Azizbeyov district on Gurban Holiday.

Gifts were presented to veterans of WWII, Garabagh war, martyr families, lonely and helpless people, boarding schools, poor families in all settlements of Azizbeyov district.

Sheep were sacrificed on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, and distributed to 1500 poor families in all settlements of Azizbeyov district. Over 2 tons of sacrificed sheep were provided to people needing special care.  

In the event organized in Merdakan Head of Azizbeyov District Executive Power Gulaga Islamov congratulated residents on the sacred holiday, saying ‘President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva always care about poor families and people in need’. Residents expressed gratitude to M.Aliyeva for concern.
