The Heydar Aliyev Foundation provided assistance to and held festivities for a series of children’s homes

Within the next charity action, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation sent food products and gifts to Nursery No. 1 and Psychoneurologic Children’s Home of the Baku City Central Public Health Department. Festivities were held for residents of Children Home No.2 in the Surakhany District deprived of parental care at the “Koala” Child Rest Centre, and children were given presents. And at the “Elite” Entertainment Centre, a festivity was organized for a total of 110 children from  Children Home No.3 in Khatai district, Specialized school No.268 in Nasimi district and Special Boarding School No.1 in Sabunchu district.

 

Moreover, gifts were sent to Boarding School No.13 in Buzovna settlement of Azizbeyov district. Various sets of bedclothes, warm blankets, a refrigerator, heaters and other consumer equipment were given for use by children in need of care.

 

Presents from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were also sent to Boarding Home No. 7 for mentally and physically disabled children located in Saray settlement.

 

The concert program organized at the summer camp created for children in Shuvalan on August 26 was one of the events held to ensure that their rest was interesting. Attended by some 300 children from Children Home No.1 in Nizami district, Specialized Boarding School No.2 in Azizbeyov district, Subsidiary Boarding School No.1,  Boarding School No.16 for children suffering poliomyelitis and cerebral paralysis, Boarding School No.11 for mentally disabled children in Sabunchu district, the ceremony was the biggest event by its scale. Here children were given special gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and each children’s home was presented  a set of TV set and  a DVD player.

 

Children homes located in regions also were not forgotten. Presents were sent to the boarding school for mentally disabled children in Lankaran city, children homes in Ganja and Sheki cities, mixed type children’s homes and child neurology sanatorium in Mingachevir.
