The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized an entertainment for children in need of care in "Koala" Park

On the eve of sacred holiday Ramadan, Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, presented great happiness to disabled and orphan children.


Park ‘Koala’ reconstructed according to modern standards in Nesimi district, Baku, was on October 10 in disposal of ‘Origami’ Children and Teens Public Union. Children taken early in the morning by new buses from Bulbule settlement to the Park were warmly welcomed by all the service personnel of the entertainment center.


50 children were accompanied by 5 parents and 5 trainers. Children had fun playing rhythmic songs and dances, sitting on figures of different animals in the carousel, taking picture with statues of heroes of stories, saying poems. A rich table laid in the Park served only them all the day long.


Head of ‘Origami’ Namig Najafov expressed deep thanks to Mehriban Aliyeva for presenting the unforgettable day to children. According to him, 17 of permanent residents of the rehabilitation center of the Union suffer from cerebral palsy, 20 from oligarin and 3 from dumbness and deafness. 10 children have lost both parents. All their costs are covered by philanthropists, mostly foreign humanitarian organizations, endowments of citizens. Heydar Aliyev Foundation has rendered help to ‘Origami’ several times.
