Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranges philanthropic actions on Gurban Holiday

Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranged philanthropic actions in Azizbeyov district on Gurban Holiday, sacred holiday in Moslem world.

Employees of the Foundation first visited Psychoneurological Hospital No1 in Mashtaga settlement. 15 invalid cars and holiday gifts were brought to the Hospital on initiative of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP.


Employees of the Foundation gave best wishes of Mrs Aliyeva to those being treated here and medical personnel of the Hospital. Employees thanked the President of the Foundation for this care and attention.


A sheep was cut as sacrifice on the occasion of the holiday in Pir Hasan Sanctuary on behalf of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and given to Boarding Home No10 in Azizbeyov district.


On the sacred holiday the Foundation provided presents to invalids of Chernobyl and 20 January tragedies, WWII and Garabag war, martyr and poor families in Shuvalan, Bina, Turkan, Zire, Pirallahy, Gurgen, Gala, Mardakan, Shagan and Buzovna settlements of Azizbeyov district. In general, 2700 families were made parts of sheep cut and presents.  


Residents expressed gratitude to Mehriban Aliyeva for taking care of them on this saint holiday, said they will always remember this charity by the First Lady.
