Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranges party for children at Gulistan Palace

Heydar Aliyev Foundation arranges New Year parties at Gulistan Palace for children from children homes, boarding schools, refugee families, children deprived of parental care and distinguished in education. More than 2000 children were invited to this year’s celebrations.

 

President of the Foundation, Fist Lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva attended the party on 28 December along with her daughter Arzu. Mrs Aliyeva and her daughter sincerely met with children, were photographed with them.

 

First, film reflecting participation of national leader Heydar Aliyev in children’s celebrations on World Azeris Solidarity Day and New Year, care of the Foundation to children homes and boarding schools was shown.

 

Santa Claus and Snow Girl entered the decorated Palace to the sound of loud applauses. Lighting the New Year Tree with his magic pipe Santa Claus held games among children, presented gifts to winners.

 

In 3-hour party, actors did their best to cheer children.

 

On the faces of children there was feeling of gratitude to Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its President Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva for presenting this wonderful party to them. Majority of participants of the party included children from refugee and IDP families, trained at children homes and boarding schools, needing daily care.

 

Children were entertained by famous singers, amateur bands of schools, dance groups, young talents.

 

Children and those accompanying them highly appreciated warm attitude and care of employees of the Foundation.

 

Mehriban Aliyeva addressed the party.

 

Every participant of the party was given holiday gift by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

New Year party this year too left unforgettable impressions on children.

 

Upon recommendation of Fist Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva security actions were taken, buses allocated to get children to the Palace and back.

 

Heydar Aliyev Foundation will arrange holiday parties on December 29 in Baku and regions.
