The Child Festival in the Heydar Aliyev Centre’s park comes to the end

The Child Festival arranged in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Centre continued on June 2. On the second day of the festival, held following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, enjoying support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies, tender-age citizens and guests of Baku participated in various entertainments, spent their free time with friends.

 

President of the Baku Media Centre Arzu Aliyeva participated in the second day of the Festival, becoming familiarized with entertainment areas created for children in the Centre’s park.

 

The Child Festival was launched on June 1st – the International Child Protection Day. Various entertainment programmes were presented for the little in the framework of the Festival.

 

On both days, children demonstrated their skills and abilities, along with celebrating their holiday with entertainments during three hours, and participated in intellectual contests and enlightening trainings. The Centre’s park was at the disposal of children as both a place for entertainment and a place for creativity.

 

The park’s territory was divided according to various themes and entertainment types. Various sports and art areas were created here; children drew various pictures on asphalt for a street art. Rallies were arranged using little cars, and a rollerdrome was created.

 

At the same time, various interesting amusement facilities were installed for children in the park.

 

Travel to the world of fairy tales was arranged with participation of animation film characters. Children met their favourite characters, entertained themselves together with them.

 

Moreover, a concert programme with performances of child creativity centres and studios was presented for the tender-age.

 

Children played chess, and master classes were organized on various types of sports.

 

One of the interesting and favourite zones created in the Heydar Aliyev Centre’s park was the “Safari tournament” and “Mini Farm”. Here, children could become familiarized with a number of animals.

 

Inmates of children’s homes and pupils of boarding schools operating in Baku and regions, as well as children in need of special care participated in the first fay of the festival. They displayed their own handicrafts, performed dances and music pieces. At the end, guests from children’s homes and boarding schools were presented gifts from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

 

The Festival ended on June 2.
