Delivery of sacrificed animal shares to low-income families on the occasion of Gurban Holiday, following the initiative of First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, continued today too.
Some 70 thousand low-income families were congratulated on the holiday and delivered a sacrificed animal share during the project, which started on August 11, covering the districts of Baku and all regions of the republic.
Employees of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and volunteers of the Foundation’s Regional Development Public Association visited today families receiving addressed social aid in Baku city, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Goranboy and other districts and delivered sacrificed animal shares on behalf of the Foundation.
On the eve of the holiday, sacrificed animals were slaughtered in specially allocated places, packed separately for each family and distributed to addresses in the course of 3 days.
