A Children’s Festival is organized in the Heydar Aliyev Center’s park

A Children’s Festival took place in the Heydar Aliyev Center’s park, dedicated to the International Children’s Day, June 1st.

 

At the festival, held with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Heydar Aliyev Center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education, children of different age groups entertained themselves according to their individual circles of interest. The Centre’s park looked like a child village during the festival, organized within the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The park was divided into zones by various subjects and types of entertainment. Here, children were presented interesting and different entertainments, and enlightening programmes. Every child was allowed to spend his/her time efficiently, and demonstrate their talent.  

 

Children of our heroes who lost their lives in the Patriotic War, inmates of children’s homes in Baku, as well as children with Down syndrome attended the Children’s Festival.

 

Scenes were built in a specially allocated zone for children loving to sing and dance, master classes organized on national and contemporary dances, and a concert programme by talented children from child-youth development centres was presented.

 

Children showing interest in high technologies could join lessons in the zone of robots, drones and aviation, and mini tournaments, competitions, interactive games and chess competitions were organized for sports lovers.

 

One of the grounds placed at the disposal of the children at the Children’s Festival was an art ground. Pictures were drawn on asphalt in the Street Art zone.

 

Children displaying interest for archaeology joined a game on discovering models of various archaeological finds from under sand by carrying out a conditional search on the archaeological ground.

 

The Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AFA) organized trainings on traffic rules in the zone of safe roads within the framework of the Festival.

 

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources gave children information about the climate change, water and energy saving, sorting out wastes, and held quizzes. During the interactive games, ecologists enlightened children on national parks and reserves, and familiarization with the Safari Park took place.

 

The Food Safety Agency organized an art exhibition called “With Safe Food to Healthy Future”. Artworks selected from among works presented to a competition were displayed. Winners of the competition were awarded at the Festival.

 

Competitions on cars and different sports types were also held today in the Heydar Aliyev Center’s park. Entertainment zones “Culinary”, “Relay-race” etc., attractions and animators made children experience moments to turn into a nice memory. Various gifts were presented to the winners and participants at the competition held.

 

A reading ground was also organized in the Heydar Aliyev Center’s park. Here took place a meeting with authors of child literature, a reading hour for children with restricted hearing and talking abilities, as well as a competition on pictures of characters from various literary works, and a quiz.

 

The song and dance ensemble “Cücələrim“(My chicks), child music theatre ”Təbəssüm”(Smile), vocal group “Azəri inciləri” (Azeri pearls) and other talented children and groups performed at the concert programme.

 

So, the Heydar Aliyev Center’s park was placed at the disposal of children in the course of the day as a place of entertainment and creativity, making them experience unforgettable moments.
