Heydar Aliyev Foundation organizes book exhibition in international symposium in Turkey

2-day international symposium ‘Facts of human rights violation Turks and Muslims underwent in the near history’ was held December 14 in Bursa, Turkey by the Cabinet of Turkey, Turkey Cooperation and Development Agency, Bursa Municipality and Mehseti Turks Circles Federation. The symposium brought together 200 delegates from 50 countries, including members of Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan.

 

In the opening of the event, national leader of Azeri people Heydar Aliyev was honored to the minute of silence.

 

Book exhibition organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the lobby of Almira Hotel where the event took place was of great interest. State Minister of Turkey Faruk Chelik, Turkish MPs Sedat Kyzyljykly, Ali Kul familiarized themselves with over 50 books on Daghlig Garabagh conflict, Armenian terror and atrocities, Khojaly genocide. Ganira Pashayeva, member of Milli Mejlis, presented Faruk Chelik with a book developed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Books were presented to other attendees as well.

 

G.Pashayeva stressed in the symposium efforts must be united towards protection of rights of Azerbaijanis displaced from Daghlig Garabagh, other occupied lands of Azerbaijan, also from Armenia, whose rights have been violated, and other Turkic and Muslim nations oppressed. 

 

Noting significance of the event, State Minister of Turkey Faruk Chelik said Azeri, Mehseti Turk and Balkan refugees live in Bursa. He mentioned efforts have to be united to put an end to ongoing oppression and injustice against Turkic and Muslim nations.

 

Ganira Pashayeva and Rena Mirzazade, member of the NGO Public Support Board by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Seljuk Turkoglu, Chairperson of Bursa Province Organization of Turkey Kamu-Sen Trade Unions Confederation, which regularly holds events to assure awareness in Turkey of realities of Azerbaijan.
