Presentation of the book “Azerbaijan- the Living Flame” took place at Frankfurt International Book Fair

On October 7, 2010, presentation of the book  ” Azerbaijan - The Living Flame” by well-known Romanian writer and playwright, chairman of the Bukharest Writers Association Horia Gârbea, took place in the city of Frankfurt of Germany in an annual International Book Fair. Printed in three languages (German, English and Romanian) with support from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the book was demonstrated at the showcase of the Minstry of Culture of Romania.

In addition to impressions the author of the book had during his visit to Azerbaijan, the book provides comprehensive information about Azerbaijan’s history, literature, geography and culture, aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and its outcomes, as well as the Khojaly Genocide.

At the end of the book, poems of H. Gârbea about Shusha, Khogaly Genocide and Guba burial ground were given.

On October 15, a TV program with participation of chairman of the Bukharest Writers Association Horia Gârbea  was aired on ”TVR Cultural” of Romania, in connection with the book’s presentation.
