Presentation of the book “Azerbaijani-Hungarian Cuisine” takes place

Presentation of the book “Azerbaijani-Hungarian Cuisine” published with the joint support of the Heydar Aliyev  Foundation, the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Embassy of Hungary in Azerbaijan took place, November 3.


During the presentation, the developing relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary in the political, cultural and other spheres were underlined, and a number of projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Hungary within the framework of its international projects were emphasized.


Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan Jolt Chutora highly assessed the projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The Ambassador said national dishes and rich samples of cuisine belonging to the two nations have been reflected in the book published in the Azerbaijani and Hungarian languages: “To prepare the first book about the Azerbaijani-Hungarian cuisine was not difficult for me. I like both eating and cooking, and I adore the cuisines of Azerbaijan and Hungary that are very similar”.


The Ambassador thanked President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the support she has provided for the publication of the book.


Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Siarto, who was on a visit to Azerbaijan, also attended the event. The minister assessed the book “Azerbaijani-Hungarian Cuisine” as a contribution to the friendly relations between the two countries.
