Works by eminent writer, philologist scholar and pedagogue Mir Jalal Pasahyev have been translated into the Turkish language under the auspices of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Novels ‘Man Revived’, ‘Open Book’, books of stories ‘Man of Skies’, ‘Imported Disease’, ‘Seal and Love’ by Mir Jalal Pashayev, outstanding writer, scholar in literature and pedagogue, have gracefully been published in Turkey and presented to the Turkish readers due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.


Novels and stories included in 5 books have been translated into Turkish language by Ali Akbar Aliyev and Azad Agayev. Covers of books contain photos according to the characters of works and brief information on life and creativity of the writer.


According to that information, Mir Jalal Pashayev was one of founders of novel genre in Azeri literature. Except 6 novels and hundreds of stories he wrote, he was the researcher of great Azeri poet Mahammad Fuzuli, possessing deep knowledge on him. Brave persons were as a rule heroes of works of the writer, emphasizing in his creativity the principles of fight against injustice, criticizing the pessimism. Even if during soviet regime he skillfully provided different facts and details to the readers on alienation of such structure to humanity.  


These books are also valuable contributions to the 100th jubilee of prominent writer and scholar Mir Jalal Pashayev.


This initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which always supports delivery of best patterns of Azeri literature to the readers of foreign countries and translation of worthiest works of various nations into our language and publication, is very appreciable. Deep interest by Turkish readers in this works, creativity of Mir Jalal, big popularity the books got for short time in the brotherly country once more confirms this.
