Visit by winners of the essay competition on the theme of “I discover Azerbaijan” to Azerbaijan
Being an official partner of the Organization Committee of the Eurovision Song Contest held in 2012 in Baku, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation announced an essay competition on the theme of “I discover Azerbaijan” in participating counties. The essay competition was held among 9 to 18 years old physically disabled children. As a result of the competition, a visit of the winners and people accompanying them was organized to Azerbaijan, with 2 winners from each participating country. A special program was drawn up for their visits and rest. Having closely acquainted themselves with Baku, the guests watched the grandiose show of the Eurovision Song Contest’s Final.
