Holiday gifts for low-income families
Since December 23, 2016, holiday gifts have been delivered to low-income families by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, on the occasion of the 31st December- the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, and the New Year. The project covered all families receiving addressed social aid throughout the republic.
This project of the Regional Development Public Union, founded by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, has been implemented with joint support of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Holiday gifts comprised of various foodstuff have been delivered to over 165 thousand low-income families receiving social aid in all districts and cities/towns throughout the republic.
Moreover, holiday tables were arranged, following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, in 12 districts of Baku, and in a number of districts and towns of the republic, for thousands of people in need of social aid, and each participant of these events were presented a holiday gift.
