Habil Aliyev - 80
In 2008, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation prepared a music
album devoted to the 80th
jubilee of People’s Artist, virtuosic kamancha player Habil Aliyev. The
album includes a book published in the Azerbaijani and English languages and
4CDs comprised of popular, composer’s
songs, mughams and pieces of music composed by the musician’s himself.
Talking of the musician’s life and creative work, the book is rich in photos reflecting various moments of his life.
Author of the texts in the publication is Mustafa Chamanli, and translator Baylar Hajiyev.
