The Space of Mugham
In 2009, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation prepared a
project called “The Space of Mugham”. The project was devoted to the 1st
International Mugham Festival held in Baku following the initiative of the
Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The publication included books containing comprehensive information about the festival in the Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages and 33 DVDs with Azerbaijani mugham operas, symphonic mughams, classic Azerbaijani mughams, performances by well known foreign musicians and samples of ethno-jazz.
