Coryphaeus of new Arabic literature

In 2006, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation published the book “Coryphaeus of new Arabic literature” by eminent orientalist scholar Aida Imanguluyeva in Arabic within the framework of cooperation with UNESCO. 


Analyzing, in the monograph, mostly the creative activity of three masters of literature  – Mikhail Nuayman, Jubran Khalil Jubran and Amin ar-Reyhani, the scholar is talking of the eternity of Arabian  soul in the person of these talented writers with modern thinking.


The monograph is the most significant work written about Arabian “mahjar” literature. After being translated into the Arabic, the book aroused broad interest among Arabian scholars, and was highly assessed by distinguished experts.
