A new stadium built by AFFA on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative in Bina Settlement of the Khazar District meeting FIFA Standards was put into operation, September 13. First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member of the Milli Majlis Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony. The First Lady of Azerbaijan cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening.

Sanatorium type boarding school No.8 in Buzovna Settlement of the Khazar District essentially repaired and reconstructed on the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative was put into operation, September 13. President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, member to the Milli Majlis from the Khazar District  Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony. Mehriban Aliyeva was presented flowers.

A ceremony of laying the foundation of a monument  to saint Prince Vladimir before his temple was held in Astrakhan, September 12. Vice-president of the  Heydar Aliyev Foundation attended the ceremony. First, sacred water was splashed on the place, where a monument to Prince Vladimir would be erected. Then the capsule was lowered to the foundation of the monument. 

A solemn opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani-Russian Friendship Bridge was held in Astrakhan, September 12.
