A delegation from the Naval Forces consisting of officers, warrant officers and seamen visits the Heydar Aliyev Foundation
A delegation from the Naval Forces of the Ministry of Defence of the Azerbaijan Republic consisting of officers, warrant officers and seamen visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in connection with the 90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, May 4.
The visitors were informed of the Foundation’s activity. It was noted that the Foundation studies and promotes the rich legacy of the national leader and, by implementing various social, economic and cultural projects, provides support to Azerbaijan’s progress and promotion of its culture and history.
Viewing pictures and exhibits taken from Heydar Aliyev’s personal archive and covering individual periods of his activity, reflecting the most different moments of his life and giving a broad idea of a whole period of our history, the delegation of officers, warrant officers and seamen was shown materials related to the childhood and youth years of the eminent political figure, his wide-scale activity as one of the former USSR leaders in Moscow, and the mock-up of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Main Export Pipeline.
At the end, the guests watched a documentary called “Moments of a Great Life” talking of Heydar Aliyev’s glorious course of life.
