Delegation headed by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn visit Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Delegation headed by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, April 19.

Informed about the goals and activities of the Foundation established in the memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Ukrainian guest was told the Foundation studies and promotes the national leader`s rich heritage, performs socioeconomic and humanitarian projects to support Azerbaijan`s progress, development of culture and study of history.

The delegates viewed pictures and exhibits taken from the archive of phenomenon personality Heydar Aliyev and embracing the very different aspects of his activities, documents covering the various moments of his life and giving a comprehensive idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, gifts presented by world-known politicians, books dedicated to the national leader, opinions said by prominent figures of science, culture and art about the founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, his photographs with leaders of different countries, a model of BTC main oil export pipeline named after Heydar Aliyev, the fruit of the national leader’s intellect.

Volodymyr Lytvyn signed the Foundation`s Guest Book.
