Participants of the 3rd Meeting of Azerbaijan-Greece Intergovernmental Commission, which is taking place in Baku, visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Participants of the 3rd Meeting of Azerbaijan-Greece Intergovernmental Commission, which is taking place in Baku, visited Heydar Aliyev Foundation, February 3.

Informed of the history and objectives of the Foundation established in the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the guests were told the major goal of the Foundation is to study and promote eminent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, give an idea to the future generations and foreign visitors about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socioeconomic and cultural progress, help promote the country`s history and culture, perform projects to contribute to the realization of the great leader’s dreams.

The visitors viewed the exhibits taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting separate eras of his activity, documents covering the very different moments of the genius person’s life and giving a detailed idea of the entire history of Azerbaijan, materials on large scale actions of Heydar Aliyev in Moscow as one of leaders of USSR, his childhood and youth, a model of BTC oil pipeline route.

They were informed of the national leader’s successful development strategy that lifted Azerbaijan’s influence, changed it into a leader state of the region. 

Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece Spyros Kouvelis signed the guest book.

The visitors left the Foundation under rich impressions.
