Fund of Azerbaijan created at Indonesian National Library

Event was held September 7 on creation of the fund of Azerbaijan at the Indonesian National Library.

The fund of Azerbaijan at the Indonesian National Library has been arranged at the initiative of the Embassy  of Azerbaijan to Indonesia, due to support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajiyev told at the event development of relations with Indonesia is one of priorities in foreign policy of Azerbaijan. According to him, creation of the fund of Azerbaijan consisted of printed and e-publications at the Indonesian National Library is one of the necessary duties President Ilham Aliyev has set before diplomatic representations of the country to assure larger promotion of the country across the world.

I.Hajiyev expressed hope for creation of the fund of Indonesia at the M.F.Akhundov Azerbaijan National Library.

Highly assessing formation of the fund of Azerbaijan Acting Director of the Indonesian National Library Lilic Sulistiovati expressed confidence it will make contribution to expansion of Azerbaijan-Indonesia relationship and desire to continue cooperation with Azerbaijan.

I.Hajiyev informed of Azerbaijan’s geostrategic position, history, modern life, development, growing influence in the region and world, leading role in international and regional projects, also of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Daghlig Garabagh conflict.

The fund contains materials about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, economy, tourism opportunities, domestic and foreign policy, the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Daghlig Garabagh conflict, books ‘Heydar Aliyev and Culture’, ‘Heydar Aliyev: ‘We will not admit creation of the second Armenian state within the territory of Azerbaijan’, ‘President Ilham Aliyev and Culture’, ‘Mission of Humanism and Goodness’ dedicated to activity of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, ‘War against Azerbaijan: Targeting Cultural Heritage’ developed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, samples of Nizami Ganjavi’s literary-philosophical heritage, books and DVDs prepared by the Embassy on Azerbaijan’s history, culture and tourism opportunities, the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Daghlig Garabagh conflict.

The draft memorandum of cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Indonesian libraries is under coordination.
