Garabaggal village Secondary School named after Humbat İsmayilov in Goeychay

The new building of Secondary School named after Humbat İsmayilov in Garabaggal village of Goeychay district was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Constructed in 1939, the old building of the school had become unfit for use. Therefore, a new up-to-date building was constructed for the school.

3-storied, consisting of 2 buildings, the school complex features classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology, an informatics room, rooms for military training, first aid and labour training, a library, a sports hall, and an outdoor sports ground. The education institution has been provided with visual aids. Renovation and greenery planting works were carried out on the school yard, a bust of Humbat Ismayilov was installed, and a memorial complex was constructed to immortalize the village martyrs’ memory.
