Following the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s initiative, “Dalgha” Summer Camp has been constructed for Children’s Home No.2 in Zira settlement of Khazar district, Baku.

Construction works started in January 2015 and finished in May 2016. On June 22, 2016, Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-president of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the inauguration of the child camp.

The camp’s total area is over 21 thousand square metres. Designed for 120 children, this establishment will serve as a summer holiday camp for children aged 3 to 18.

Literature related to a number of spheres has been collected in the camp’s library. Here are also a games room, workshop, study and relaxation rooms. The second and third floors have been allocated for sleeping rooms.

There are also sports grounds at the camp. This child relaxation establishment’s yard has been improved with various trees and decorative shrubs, and interesting corners have been created here to ensure children’s entertainment and relaxation.
