Museum of Modern Art

Museum of Modern Art was opened in Baku in March 2009 at the initiative of the Foundation.

The Museum’s building was designed in a contemporary and vanguard style. The exposition has modern illumination, ventilation and other systems.  

The Museum displays more than 800 avant-garde works by young Azerbaijani artists and sculptors. It also exhibits works by people’s artists, painters and sculptors of Azerbaijan. Paintings and handworks by world classics are shown in the Western Europe Art Hall.   

Exhibition of the Museum’s exhibits was held in Paris in April 2011.
