“An Evening of Azerbaijani Music” in Cannes

“An Evening of Azerbaijani Music” was organized, July 15, 2015, within the Days of Azerbaijani Culture held in Cannes.

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, well-known public and political persons of France, management of the city of Cannes, and other influential guests attended the evening held in the Palace of Festivals of Cannes.

Participants of the event were first introduced a photo exhibition associated with Baku-2015 First European Games. Guests were presented publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation related to Azerbaijan.

Ethno-Jazz samples were presented at the concert with participation of well-known master of jazz, pianist Emil Afrasiyab and his jazz band, as well as masters of art of Azerbaijan.
