Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with Regional Director of the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Caucasus Office Georgi Sanadiradze

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder of the International Dialogue Initiative for Protection of Environment – IDEA - Leyla Aliyeva met with Regional Director of the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Caucasus Office Georgi Sanadiradze, November 16.

At a meeting held within the project “Green Week” being implemented in joint cooperation between IDEA and UNEP, significance of the project being implemented in our republic on IDEA’s initiative and works done to this end were highly appreciated.

Founder of IDEA Leyla Aliyeva noted that, although the international campaign had existed only one year, a lot of works have been done to protect the environment, including rare animal species, and much attention is shown towards implementing environmental programs and projects in Azerbaijan.

Views were exchanged at the meeting also on development of bilateral relations further, and projects to be implemented in future.
