Mehriban Aliyeva met with members of jury of 3rd International Competition of Vocalists after Bulbul

President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Foundation of Friends to the Azerbaijani Culture, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and MP Mehriban Aliyeva met members of jury of 3rd International Competition of Vocalists after Bulbul.

In the beginning, chairman of jury - the national actress of the USSR, the Hero of Socialist Labor, the Lenin and the State Prize winner of the USSR, the president of the International Union of Musical Figures, academician Irina Arkhipova, judges - Maria Bieshu (Moldova), Bibigul Tulegenova (Kazakhstan), Firengiz Ahmedova, Farhad Badalbeyli (Azerbaijan), Mati Palm (Estonia), Maria Stefyuk (Ukraine), Nodar Andguladze (Georgia), Cornelia fon Kerssenbrok (Germany), Oleg Melnikov (Belarus) have familiarized with the exhibition and exposition of Fund. The detailed information on the pictures taken from personal archive of the nationwide leader and covering the separate periods of his activity has been given to visitors.

The visitors with big interest have familiarized with the numerous photos reflecting the most various moments of the life of Heydar Aliyev and creating wide representation about the whole period of the history of Azerbaijan, and also with the gifts, the known politicians of the world presented to him, books about the great leader, his pictures with leaders of the various countries, scientists, cultures and arts.

Then, the meeting with the president of Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva has taken place. Mrs Aliyeva warmly welcomed visitors, stating that is very glad to see them in the country, in the Foundation after the great leader. Briefly informing about the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, she has noted, that the basic purposes and tasks of the Foundation is philosophy and idea of Azerbaijanism and consist in propagation and transfer to the future generations based by Heydar Aliyev

The president of Foundation informed about implementation of grandiose projects in the field of assistance to solution of the problems of concrete people, solution of social problems of the country, the help to children in boarding schools, and also to children suffering from diabetes, and numerous programs on education, culture. She has emphasized, that within the framework of the educational programs, for last six months of the current year in all regions of the Republic have been constructed and handed over in operation of 130 schools.

Having declared, that the architect of the independent Azerbaijan state Heydar Aliyev always paid big attention to development of culture, expansion of friendly connections between peoples, Mehriban Aliyeva informed, that according to the Order signed by world-wide glorified politician on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the founder of Azerbaijan professional vocal art Bulbul, once in three years is carried out the international competition devoted to memory of the outstanding master. She has noted that the previous two competitions have been organized at high level, and their winners more than 30 vocalists repeatedly successfully performed in the well-known concert halls of the world. Highly having estimated participation in 3rd competition of 60 young vocalists from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China and Iran, Mehriban Aliyeva expressed confidence, that winners of the given competition which has already entered the final stage, also would make contributions to performing art.

Irina Arkhipova thanked Mrs Aliyeva for kind words, for the hospitality felt by them in Baku continually, has told, that in this arrival she became the eyewitness of considerable changes in the capital, and also has expressed satisfaction acquaintance with very interesting exposition of Fund. Having congratulated Mrs Aliyeva with election to the legislative body, I. Arkhipova has noted, that she is informed on the useful work done by her as the president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, the president of Fund of Friends to the Azerbaijan culture, about her many-sided charities.

Having emphasized, that 3rd International competition of vocalists after Bulbul is organized at a high level, the significant number of talents is revealed, having expressed satisfaction by performances first of all the Azerbaijan vocalists, art workers have noted the valuable contribution brought by Mehriban Aliyeva in development of cultural connections between peoples, informed, that in the countries they supervise over separate societies, the organizations of culture, have declared, that support opinions and initiatives of Mrs Aliyeva on more effective utilization of available opportunities for strengthening cooperation and mutual connections, have expressed confidence of realization of the given idea.

At the meeting passed in sincere conditions, also has been carried out exchange of opinions on the questions representing mutual interest.
