President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva gets familiarization with secondary schools in Astara and Lankaran

Within the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Astara and Lankaran districts President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva visited the schools built in these districts in frame of the project `New school to new Azerbaijan` of the Foundation.

Arriving first in Tengerud village of Astara district, President of the Foundation was welcomed with big respect by the schoolchildren and teaching staff as native and close person.

Mrs Aliyeva was informed 3 school buildings were constructed in Astara by the initiative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Two of them are in remote mountainous villages. All the schools were supplied with centralized heating.

President of the Foundation was closely familiarized with new building of Tengerud village secondary school, saw the classrooms, took interest in lesson process. She also viewed the old building of the village school, met with villagers. She underlined the project is considered regarding the restoration of old building of the school.

The same day Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva was familiarized with the new school building constructed in Shaglakuche village of Lankaran district in frame of the project `New school to new Azerbaijan`. The distinguished guest was sincerely welcomed here. Residents of Lankaran underlined Heydar Aliyev Foundation pays great attention to culture and education in every point of Azerbaijan and expressed deep gratitude to Mrs Aliyeva.

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva viewed the new school building, took interest in circumstance here and the lesson process of pupils, noted such projects will regularly be continued in future.

Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented different school appliances to both educational centers.
