10 more hemodialysis devices purchased on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented to Health Ministry

Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, MP, presented 10 kidney hemodialysis devices the Foundation obtained in frame of humanitarian aid to the Health Ministry, November 6.

Medical appliance is the next humanitarian help donated by Germany’s Fresenius Medical Care Company to Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Assessing the cooperation signed in 2006 with Fresenius Medical Care Company as successful, Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva mentioned 20 expensive hemodialysis devices donated since then to Heydar Aliyev Foundation have been presented to the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan.

The President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation underlined within international cooperation with a number of influential medical companies of the world the Foundation has received a lot of medical appliances that have been granted to the Health Ministry.

Highly appreciating 10 hemodialysis devices M.Aliyeva expressed gratitude to the spokesperson of the German firm for the donation.

Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva presented documents of hemodialysis devices to Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev.

The Health Minister noted a new hemodialysis center will soon be opened at the Clinical Hospital 1, where the number of hemodialysis devices will be lifted up to 30. It will help government provide hemodialysis to more patients. Mentioning such devices have been installed at medical centers in regions, O.Shiraliyev said 1200 patients across the republic get hemodialysis from government. According to him, will be opened urological center where kidney transplantation surgery will be carried out.
